Zombiereich
TTRPG & WAR GAME
Concept art and illustrations for a TTRPG in development. Set in a 1950s dystopia where Nazi zombie experimentation triggered a global apocalypse. This project focuses on the visual worldbuilding of a world overrun by the very forces intended to conquer it.

Brief
Design the "Death Star" of the Zombiereich: a colossal aerial flagship serving as a mobile battle station and fighter carrier. The core challenge was the plausible integration of the Bismarck battleship (wreckage) into a Zeppelin airframe. Key requirements included the mounting of three Schwerer Gustav cannons and a functional deployment system for recon aircraft (Arado Ar 196).
Design Solution
Developed through extensive silhouette exploration to balance the weight of the Bismarck’s hull with an aerodynamically viable balloon. The final design (a hybrid of three iterations) features an exaggerated Zeppelin scale (approx. 1km long) to provide sufficient lift. The Bismarck was retrofitted with high-elevation naval turrets and a proprietary hydraulic hangar system. These hangars extrude from the main hull for fighter deployment and retract for aerodynamic efficiency during long-range transit.
Brief
Create a central mechanical unit for jungle patrol and perimeter security. The mech needed to feel massive and intimidating, serving as a mobile light source and heavy fire support for the infantry. A key requirement was the "Jousting Shield" addition: a reinforced plating protecting the main cannon, inspired by medieval tournament armor (Rondels/Pauldrons).
Design Solution
Developed using a low-angle perspective to emphasize scale and mechanical complexity. The walker features a heavy weapon loadout protected by "medieval-style" shielding. The final render utilizes the mech's headlights glow as the primary light source to create a high-contrast, atmospheric scene where the environment (lurking predators) remains in the shadows.
Brief
Design a high-mobility infantry unit equipped with jetpacks for rapid deployment. These "Jet Troopers" serve as vanguard mechanized divisions. The brief required a design that could handle intense flight combat while maintaining the dieselpunk tech aesthetic, capable of engaging both ground-level enemy and aerial threats.
Design Solution
The exploration ranged from heavy to lightweight frames, prioritizing agility for this specific unit. Equipped with dual Thompson SMGs integrated into the jetpack's directional system, the design grants maximum freedom for simultaneous movement and attack. The final scene includes a lurking, bulkier enemy design to provide a visual contrast against the trooper’s streamlined silhouette.
