Artist profile
Manuel Lavalle (Unam).
illustrator and concept artist with over 15 years of experience crafting visual universes. My work specializes in the intersection of technical drawing, painting, and storytelling, focusing primarily on content development for tabletop RPGs (TTRPGs), board games, and the publishing industry.
My approach moves away from superficial aesthetics; I seek world-building grounded in logic and structure. My interest in exact sciences and philosophy influences my design methodology, allowing me to approach fantasy, sci-fi, and cyberpunk projects with an analytical rigor that balances the imaginative with the functional. I understand art as a tool that must withstand technical evaluation and resonate with the reality of the human experience.
In an environment saturated with automated processes, I maintain an honest and transparent workflow, free of generative AI tools. I believe in the value of constant iteration and human judgment as the only means of achieving precise and original results. From my studio in Argentina, I work to transform concepts into solid visual solutions that do not just accompany, but actively build the narrative identity of every project.
