CHARACTER ILLUSTRATION

This project consisted of a high-contrast, black-and-white character illustration of "Letti," a specialized hunter-killer robot designed for mutant termination. the objective was to capture the character in her exposed mechanical state, showcasing her lethal weaponry and intricate endoskeleton after her synthetic human skin was compromised.

Brief

The client required a slim, feminine-leaning robotic silhouette that balanced heavy weaponry with a high-mobility frame. Specific requirements included a massive chain-gun integrated into the left arm and a high-frequency energy blade on the right. The character, "Letti" (Locomotive External Transport and Termination Intelligence). The design had to prioritize mechanical detail and a cold, determined personality.

Design Solution

The design process began with three distinct pose explorations, ranging from a static technical front-view to dynamic, ground-hugging running stances. We proceeded with an action-oriented pursuit pose, merging a specific tactical head design from one variant with the movement of another. During the refinement phase, I established a lighting scheme driven by an off-screen full moon and a burning facilities on has the background. For the final polish, I adjusted the facial proportions, added textures and a effect of movement on the floor.
